Mission

A camping stove that is portable and easy to set up, with multi-functional and adaptable features, while fit solo travel contexts.

Rivian’s design philosophy blends functionality with warmth, avoiding the coldness of typical automotive design.

Ideation

The ideation stage explored both form and function to align the product with Rivian’s design language. Sketches focused on creating a structure that feels robust yet inviting, reflecting Rivian’s balance of utility and warmth. Alongside form exploration, multiple mechanisms and functional concepts were developed to enhance usability and adaptability in outdoor settings.

Mechanism Process

Easy Set-up

The design allows for quick and effortless setup. By gently pressing the raised points on the frame, the stove folds smoothly into place. To open, simply lift the upper frame until it locks automatically, making operation intuitive and efficient for outdoor use.
